PROGRAM TWO: "THE 3-FOLD PATH" IS A SMALL TOOLKIT FOR A BIG LIFE
"When I was young, I believed that life
might unfold in an orderly way, according to my hopes and expectations
But now I understand the path winds like a river
Always changing, ever onward, following God’s gravity
toward the Great Sea of Being...
every path leads to peace
every choice leads to wisdom"
--Dan Millman from “The Journeys of Socrates”
The 3-Fold Path is both old AND new: its a very simple toolkit for life. It’s a fresh river of
wisdom flowing from many ancient roots. It comes with a short and simple little practice –
one that compliments rather than replaces what you already know, do, and believe in about your
life. It is lightweight, easy to carry along, and just might enhance your ability to work
through the challenges that life brings your way.
As part of the Path you will learn some very
simple primal meditative postures that evoke
life’s 3 primal energies: “Affinity, Intention,
and Awareness” (or lovingness, willfulness, and
mindfulness). The postures can help us
from “getting stuck in our heads” as we move to
resolve a life issue or problem. They are
effective for relieving panic and stress, and
can help us restore balance in our lives. Or
they can simply be for centering, calming, and
giving gratitude as we greet our day.
The 3-fold path works well
with most spiritual traditions or science-based
belief systems. Its triple spiral balance of
life energies is found implicitly, or outright
in the teachings of Jesus, Buddha, Gandhi, and
the ancient druidic sciences and earth
spirituality of the Celts as well as others.
The meditation part of it is simple, and can be
done by most anyone who can lie on the earth or
floor and move their limbs, in just a few
minutes of their day.

INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES, OR SMALL GROUPS AT TARA’S MEADOW
RETREAT CENTER. If your heritage is European, the
Celts are likely your ancestors. Come journey with us
as we explore the history and mystery of these shadowy
tribal peoples, from Merlin and the Druids to the
Warrior Queens and the mystical “holy ecology” of
Celtic Christian Monks. We’ll explore Celtic values and
life ways, discovering how they illuminate our
challenges and joys today. Highlights: sacred earth
traditions, resistance to Roman globalization, strong
egalitarian roots. Your study is an active mosaic of
lecture, poetry, story-telling, imagery, experiential
learning and a rewarding personal journey.
Course Outline:
6) The Celts: Introduction
7) The Ancestors: stepping back
8) The Land and the Otherworld
9) The Wounds: yesterday and today
10) Coming Home: healing and balance

PROGRAM FOUR: EARTH, SKY, and SEA: A CELTIC WAY TO HEALING and BALANCE
“There are six billion dramas, six billion stories of suffering, and only one great wound of separation that we all
share. How might the wisdom of our Celtic ancestors help us find healing
and balance in our lives today?”
During this
3-session program you’ll explore a modern interpretation of the ancient 3 worlds, 3 elements, and 3 sacred energies
of the Celts. We’ll begin by exploring our ‘original wounds’ and relating them to ‘the Wasteland’ of the Grail
legend. Then we’ll explore a Celtic-inspired path to healing and balance, utilizing the powerful new shamanic movement
mediations called ‘Celtic Body Prayers.’ Expect a new vision of balance, enhanced with gentle shamanic body movements,
in rhyme with the patterns of earth, sky and sea.

PERSONAL CARE SESSIONS . . .
I cannot recount the many times that I have shared my Celtic Body Prayer and touched the hearts of others. You stood by me through a very rough transition in my life, manifesting unconditional love and acceptance,
and were just what my heart and soul needed. If anyone ever wants a recommendation, send them my way."
-- Deb Walker of "Hands on Healing"
WHAT ARE THE GOALS OF PCS? Stepping forward into the
fruition of our lives, healing, and enhancing our
self-esteem, navigating our important life passages –
these are our goals with Personal Care Sessions.
In this beautiful sequence of one-to-one meetings we use
a variety of tools to support the larger goals of your
life.
WHAT TOOLS DO WE USE? In Personal Care Sessions we
blend Celtic Body Prayers movement meditations with a
rich array of other tools for personal empowerment. These may include native wisdom dialogue; shamanic
journeying; balancing and centering in the physical
and relational worlds; visionary drawing and
introspective exercises; and creative ways to invoke
the sacred earth elements in our lives. We draw
from the wells of wisdom of many traditions to meet your
needs (Celtic or other Native traditions, Buddhism,
Christianity, Judaism, or Gandhi's universal
principles for peace, balance and healing.)
CRAFTING YOUR PERSONAL "LORICA" OR MOVEMENT PRAYER "Lorica" literally means "breastplate" or poem for
personal empowerment. Springing from very ancient traditions, the Lorica is both a powerful personal
prayer and a universal tool for daily living. Your self-crafted Lorica carries the potential to summon
magic into your life. It can aid in your process of healing, affirmation and manifestation, as Seamus
supports you in "choreographing" your poem into a powerful movement prayer. This is a wonderful tool
often used during your Personal Care Sessions.

CELTIC and CUSTOM SPIRITUAL WEDDINGS . . .
“There have been few times in my life where things have unfolded in such a beautiful, profound way. You have such a way about you Seamus . . . the calm and great love in your spirit. And I was so very pleased to hear from my family members who had initial doubts about such an alternative ceremony. They found our wedding to be the most moving and beautiful ceremony they had ever attended!”
-- Danielle and Mike Davies (June 16th, 2010)
“Seamus, this is the second wedding I’ve witnessed of
yours, and I am so impressed with the depth of knowing
and personal connection you have with the bride and
groom. Other weddings I attend seem formulaic, yours
are deeply personal and meaningful. Might you be
available for my fiancee’s and my wedding next June?”
--
Michael Paine, Freshwater Studios photographer at
Craig and Kristen’s wedding (July 28th 2007)
“You did an amazing job of making our wedding wishes
become a reality Seamus. We wanted a ceremony that
didn’t just tolerate our differences, but actually
celebrated them. People from every faith,
denomination, socio-economic group, ethnic group,
family, friends, business associates, neighbors were
there. Not one found fault. Your gift allowed you to
harness the energy and direct it outward for
everyone’s benefit. Wow! What a blessing to have met
you.”
--
Fred, Therese and Alexa Boldt (September 23rd 2006)
"Thank you Seamus for everything you have done for us
. . . I can't express how perfect you helped make the day . . . you set an instant calm to all you come in
contact with."
-- Brandy and Brian (October 22nd 2005)
"Thank you Seamus, so much for giving us everything we
could have ever asked for in a Minister of Peace and
Love, a Druid, and a friend. Your spirit and
kindness made a lasting mark on all who were witness to the
magic of our day."
-- Nathan and Sara (September 26th 2004)
A note from Seamus . . .
As an ordained minister of the peace, I find deep joy
in uniting new couples. I love co-creating deeply
meaningful weddings with them, and can offer a rich
array of traditional and contemporary Celtic inspired
customs to draw from. My first goal is to help
couples forge an authentic spiritual bonding unique to
their needs. I wish their ceremony to be always
cherished and empowering of their union. At the
couple's request, I may incorporate spiritual
counseling and Body Prayers support sessions in our
planning meetings before the wedding. I then
strive to make the ceremony itself meaningful, beautiful, and
harmonious for all that attend, aiming at welcoming
and inclusiveness for friends and family members.
I take pleasure in explaining and blending "the old
familiar" customs with what may be new or unfamiliar
to some in the wedding party. At the couples
request, I can include Christian, Jewish, Buddhist or other
customs into the language or ceremony; or I can tailor
your wedding entirely for an earth-centered or pagan
event.

dialogue more about your wishes and intentions. Phone 231.347.7957 or email him at
